Middle School Math Teacher
2017-2018 Academic Year

 
Convent of the Sacred Heart, 91st Street, is seeking a candidate with a strong math background, experience working with Middle School students grades 5-8, and experience teaching Algebra I. 
 
Responsibilities
 
   ● Teach multiple grades of mathematics, including one section of Algebra I. 
   ● Share homeroom duties with seasoned faculty member.
   ● Commit to learn about and support the school's mission. 
   ● Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and parents about student progress.
   ● ​Maintain good professional and collaborative relationships with colleagues. 
   ● Commit to personal growth through active participation in professional development.
 
 Qualifications

   ● Knowledge of and experience teaching Singapore Math is an asset
   ● Strong and advanced knowledge of the course content and pedagogy is imperative
   ● Candidate must possess good organizational skills along with technological proficiency and adaptability
   ● Masters Degree preferred
   ● Experience teaching Middle School Math and Algebra I
