Upper School Science Teacher

Convent of the Sacred Heart seeks an experienced Upper School Science Teacher for a full time position beginning late August 2019.
  • Master's degree is required along with the ability to teach a comprehensive, project-based introduction to the fundamental disciplines of engineering
  • Teach both the introductory course, which includes principles in design, structural engineering and
    architecture, as well as the expertise to teach the advanced course in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Teach Physics
  • Additional responsibilities include, but not limited to, collaborating and planning with the Science faculty, and attending weekly after-school faculty meetings
  • Ideal candidate will have demonstrated an interest in upper school education, and the ability to relate and communicate effectively and appropriately with adolescent girls
