Upper School Religion Teacher
Full Time

 
Convent of the Sacred Heart is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Upper School Religion Teacher. This is a full-time school-year position, beginning in late August 2019.

Responsibilities:
Courses include, but not limited to, World Religions, Morality, Ethics and Philosophy
Campus ministry duties, including retreats and liturgies, in collaboration with Campus Minister and Chaplain

The US Religion teacher is actively involved with the Mission and Goals of Sacred Heart education with students and adults alike. Candidates must be Roman Catholic.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated 
interest in upper school education, and the ability to relate and communicate effectively and appropriately with adolescent girls.

Requirements:
MA degree in Religious Studies or Theology preferred

Five years of teaching experience
Knowledge of Catholic Church teachings and USCCB guidelines
Excellent organizational, written and verbal communications skills
Positive team player with a desire to contribute and share your gifts and talents with the students and administration of the school
