Upper School Biology Teacher

The Upper School seeks an experienced Upper School Biology Teacher beginning late August 2019
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated interest in upper school education, and the ability to relate and communicate effectively and appropriately with adolescent girls.
Responsibilities
Bio 9
- Teach an inquiry-based, rigorous high school biology curriculum for grade 9
- Teach AP Biology, an introductory college-level biology course for high school juniors and seniors
- Students explore topics including evolution, cellular processes, and ecology through inquiry-based investigations
- Teacher candidates must be familiar with the AP Biology College Board curriculum
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Science or Teaching
- 5 years experience preferred
