We are seeking an experienced Middle School Learning Specialist for the 2017-2018 academic year.

The ideal candidate will hold a masters degree, have learning specialist experience in the Middle School, demonstrated interest in middle school education, and the ability to relate and communicate effectively and appropriately with adolescent girls. Strong communication skills and knowledge of learning disabilities required.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include teaching classes to address learning needs of students, supervising and coordinating accommodations and outside of school supports, which include professionals such as, tutors, evaluators, and physicians.

Assist and communicate frequently with families, lower and upper school learning specialist and faculty to ensure the learning needs are understood and supported.

To perform other duties as assigned by the division head or the head of school.
