College Counseling Administrative Assistant

The College Counseling Office liaises with all constituents in the school as well as many professionals outside of the school. It is a fast-paced office with many time-sensitive, moving parts. Candidate must be highly organized, efficient, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, and technological skills, as he/she may be the school’s first point of contact with students, families, and other academic institutions. The candidate will also work directly with students in college counseling classes and will give direct instruction about aspects of the college application process. Occasional support at evening programs may also be required.

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Naviance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Google Sheets
  • Technologically savvy and comfortable
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
