Admissions Associate
Full time

Reports to: Director of Admissions & Enrollment Management
FLSA: Non-Exempt, full-time
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for all admissions inquiries and communications to applicant families
- Conduct admissions interviews and student visits for all divisions
- Conduct admissions training and deliver in tours for all divisions
- Attend financial committee meetings
- Coordinate with Admissions Director and Associate Directors with admissions events
- Organizes and coordinates admissions outreach and recruiting efforts (school visits and fairs)
- Serve on the admissions committee for all divisions
- Draft admissions materials and presentations
- Oversee the management of admissions data
- Plan and organize student playgroup visits and individual student visits
- Work directly with Admissions team and tour guides to provide a weekly schedule
- Attend weekly admissions meetings & create meeting agenda
- Prepare and manage electronic admissions decision letters & enrollment contracts
- Manage online application process and serve as web liaison
- Monitor enrollment by creating and maintaining class list and attrition list
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications:
This position is a 12 month position, in person Monday through Friday. Availability to work some evenings and weekends during the admissions season is required (paid).
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role or experience with independent schools, non-profit organizations or in an admissions role
- Proficiency with technology including databases, spreadsheets, and online application platforms
- Have sensitivity and awareness of economic, cultural, and other considerations present in the enrollment of a diverse student body
- Be a team player who is organized, flexible, creative and detail-oriented.
- Have a strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills, database and technical skills, a sense of humor, and the ability to be forward-thinking in order to anticipate the needs of the office and respond accordingly.
- Demonstrate ability to maintain grace under pressure and maintain professionalism and discretion in all aspects of representing the school
- Knowledge of, appreciation for, and demonstrated commitment to anti-racist and anti-bias education.
